NEW FOR 2024 is a complete circumnavigation of Tresco Island, the second largest island in the Scilly archipelago. To make it more interesting (and safer!) it will be a staged swim, split into 3 legs.
You can enter the event solo or in a relay team of up to 3. At each stop there will be time to rest, refuel and then we will all restart. For the relays, those who do not swim a leg, will walk to the next stop.
This is a non-competitive challenge event.
Min speed requirement for safety/tide reasons is 28 min / km - 44 min / mile
Swim distances are approximate, and may change due to weather conditions.
Anticipated water temperature is 15℃.
This is no longer a fully catered event. Snacks and hot drinks will be provided and packed mini hampers will be available to purchase in advance (or bring your own).
(Please note that we cannot guarantee that you will be finished in time to travel back to the mainland on the day of the event.)
